Financial Assistance & Grants
All of our programs may be eligible for the “One Happy Camper” grant, “PJ Goes to Camp” grant or Financial Assistance. For any information regarding Financial Assistance, you are welcome to pursue a confidential conversation with Barbara Vahaba, Financial Assistance Coordinator, at 678.812.4142.
One Happy Camper applications will be available in late October. Check their website to see if you qualify for an incentive grant and submit an application when it is available. Note-your child must be registered for camp before applying for this grant.
Visit PJ Library to see if you qualify for the PJ Goes to Camp grant. Referral codes will be available in October.
ATLANTA AREA FAMILIES
Camp Barney Medintz is a proud partner of the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta’s Jewish Overnight Camp Initiative. The initiative is dedicated to sending more children from Atlanta to Jewish overnight camp, and has financial resources available to help make camp affordable. One Happy Camper Grants for First time campers from Atlanta:
- $1,500 grant if enrolled for 19+ consecutive days
- $1,000 grant if enrolled for 11-18 consecutive days
One Happy Camper Grants for Second year campers from Atlanta ($175,000 income cap):
- $750 grant if enrolled for 19+ consecutive days
- $500 grant if enrolled for 11-18 consecutive days
Members of the MJCCA can apply for financial assistance through the Marcus JCC of Atlanta. Applications will be accepted after October 2. Click here for details and frequently asked questions.
